Since we've been getting asked what Josiah might like for his birthday.... here are a few things we think he'll love. For the rest of you with kids, what are/were some of your one-year-old's favorite things?
Double Bike Trailer
Wagon (with seats/straps)
Water Table
Busy Ball Popper
Beach Tent (something easy to tote that provides shade from the sun)
Walking Shoes! (giftcard to StrideRite is probably best since his feet are growing fast)
He likes toys that he can stack/knock down.
He has a bunch, but he definitely loves Cars.
We have that ball popper thing. Probably one of the most ridiculous, obnoxious toys around, but both of ours have loved it! However, you'll probably end up chasing the balls that fly around to put them back in. Also, Joshua likes to put other toys in there that don't belong. They get stuck and we have to fish them out. A GOOD set of blocks is a great investment that he and future siblings will play with forever! Outdoor toys are also great as they become more mobile in warm weather. Water tables are fun. Some can also have sand in them, but don't do sand until he's past the stage of eating it!
